Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI have achieved notable successes in their ongoing operations, including the rescue of four abducted civilians from a terrorist enclave in Gwoza Local Government Area. The rescued individuals, comprising two women and two children, were previously taken during a terrorist attack on the Ngoshe community in March 2026. In addition to the rescues, military personnel apprehended two suspected terrorist collaborators and four individuals linked to cattle rustling at Kwaya Kusar Market, while also recording the surrender of family members of Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists. The operations resulted in the recovery of weapons and supplies intended for insurgents, further contributing to the ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability in the North East region.
