In the early hours of Saturday, May 23, 2026, gunmen suspected to be Fulani bandits invaded the Duru-Kamang community located in the Foron District of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. During the attack, a 47-year-old farmer named Samuel Tsok was reportedly killed. Additionally, the assailants rustled approximately 50 cows belonging to the community, prompting concerns among residents about the safety and security in the area. Local authorities have been informed of the incident as investigations are underway.
