Troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) successfully rescued 92 civilians who had been kidnapped during a recent operation along the Buratai–Kamuya road in the Biu Local Government Area of Borno State. The operation also involved the thwarting of an ambush utilizing improvised explosive devices (IEDs) set by terrorists in the region.
