The Edo State Police Command successfully rescued 13 passengers who had been abducted by suspected kidnappers along the Benin-Lagos Expressway. According to a statement from the command’s spokesperson, ASP Eno Ikoedem, the incident occurred on May 9 when armed assailants attacked the victims at Ogua Community. The police operation leading to the rescue was conducted in response to the reported abduction, and all victims have been safely recovered. The police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and the identities of the perpetrators.
