Michael Aondoakaa, the governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party in Benue State, has announced Dr. Oyije Ochaekiti-Ogbenjuwa as his running mate for the upcoming election. Dr. Ochaekiti-Ogbenjuwa, who is 38 years old, was introduced during the party's state congress held in Makurdi on Sunday. Aondoakaa, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and former minister of justice and attorney general under the administration of Umaru Yar’Adua, emphasized the importance of collaboration in their campaign efforts. The selection of Ochaekiti-Ogbenjuwa is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the party's strategy in the forthcoming election.
