Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State for the 2027 elections, has announced Dr. Oyije Ochaekiti Ogbenjuwa, a 38-year-old medical doctor, as his running mate. The announcement was made during a party congress in Makurdi, where Aondoakaa outlined his administration's key priorities, including the commitment to end violence and ensure the safety of citizens. He emphasized the revival of agriculture and rural development, aiming to uphold Benue's reputation as the "Food Basket of the Nation." Additionally, Aondoakaa highlighted plans for youth and women empowerment, improved infrastructure, quality healthcare, and education, while promoting justice, transparency, and unity among the state's diverse communities.
