A recent policy analysis conducted by Harrison Rehoboth Consulting has highlighted the significant financial requirements for Africa to address climate change effectively. The report indicates that the continent will need approximately $2.8 trillion from 2020 to 2030 to fulfill its obligations under the Paris Agreement. To achieve this, Africa requires an annual investment of about $277 billion dedicated to climate adaptation and mitigation initiatives. This financial commitment is deemed essential for the continent to confront the pressing challenges posed by climate change.
