The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has released a summary of findings from the first year of the Disaster Response Emergency Fund (DREF) Feedback Process, which was launched in September 2024. During this period, the initiative garnered 115 responses from National Societies, IFRC staff, and Partner National Societies across five regions. Feedback was obtained through targeted surveys and a continuously available feedback box linked to the GO Platform, allowing participants to share their experiences regarding the DREF's footprint, procedures, and guidelines. The compiled insights aim to enhance the connection between the feedback received and the DREF Procedures, as well as inform the upcoming 2025-2030 Strategic Ambition.
