Crack down on environmental violators, 931 offenders arrested

The Lagos State Government has ramped up its efforts to enforce environmental regulations, resulting in the arrest of 931 individuals for various waste management violations over the past year. In addition to these arrests, authorities have also sealed 239 facilities that were found to be in breach of environmental laws. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance compliance with waste management practices and protect the state's environment.
