The United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH) has released its quarterly report detailing the human rights situation in Haiti for the period from July to September 2025. The report indicates that during this timeframe, a total of 1,247 individuals were killed and 710 were injured due to violence involving gangs, self-defense groups, and unorganized civilians, as well as during operations conducted by security forces. The data reveals that men constituted 83 percent of the victims, while women and children accounted for 14 percent and 3 percent, respectively. This report underscores the ongoing challenges related to violence and human rights violations in the country.
