Chief Maurice Vunobolki has officially been confirmed as the gubernatorial candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa state. This affirmation came during a delegate election where representatives from all 21 local government areas participated, and Vunobolki emerged as the sole aspirant. Notably, Andrew Caleb did not partake in the selection process, as his faction was reportedly not recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Vunobolki's candidacy now positions him as the official representative of the PDP in the upcoming gubernatorial election.
