Dickson to Unveil NDC Selection Committee, Host Aspirants Dinner

Seriake Dickson, the former Governor of Bayelsa State and National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), is set to inaugurate a 21-member Selection Committee on Monday in Abuja. This committee, established to enhance internal democracy and refine the candidate selection process for the upcoming general elections, will review the outcomes of recent screening exercises for various aspirants, including those for governorship and legislative positions. Chaired by NDC National Chairman, Sen. Moses Cleopas Zuwoghe, the committee's mandate includes scrutinizing reports from the National Screening Committee and making decisions on the screening outcomes of all aspirants. Additionally, Dickson will host an Aspirants Dinner later that evening, aimed at fostering unity and engagement among party members and stakeholders, emphasizing the NDC's commitment to inclusiveness and cohesion within its ranks.
