The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has initiated a sensitisation campaign focused on flood mitigation and emergency preparedness in Jigawa State in anticipation of the 2026 rainy season. During a press conference at the NOA Conference Hall in Dutse, the state director, Ahmad Tijjani Ibrahim, emphasized the importance of educating the public on flood risks and safety measures. The campaign aims to equip residents with the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively respond to potential flooding events.
