Prof. Mohammed Sani Haruna, a prominent aspirant for the governorship position under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, has publicly denounced the results of the party's recent primary election, labeling it a "sham" fraught with irregularities and instances of disenfranchisement. He claimed that electoral materials and officials did not arrive at numerous wards, including his own polling unit, and accused certain officials of exhibiting bias and intimidation in favor of his rival, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada. In response to these allegations, Augustine Ogaba, the Nasarawa State APC Publicity Secretary, defended the integrity of the primary, asserting that it was conducted fairly and transparently across all 147 wards, and recommended that Haruna address his grievances through the party's appeal committee rather than through public declarations.
