The World Health Organization (WHO) has allocated emergency funds to enhance the response to the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda. Currently, the DRC has reported 101 confirmed cases of Ebola, resulting in 10 fatalities, while Uganda has confirmed five cases and one death, which are associated with cross-border movement of individuals. The funding aims to support containment efforts and prevent further spread of the virus in the affected regions.
