A Kano High Court has sentenced Yusuf Ahmad and Auwal Abdulhamid to death by hanging following their conviction for the murder of their friend, Ibrahim Umar Mahmud. The court found that the two men conspired to stab Mahmud, resulting in his death. Both Ahmad, a resident of Rijiyar Lemo Quarters in Ungogo Local Government Area, and Abdulhamid, from Bachirawa Quarters, were found guilty of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide. The ruling was delivered by Justice Musa Dahuru Muhammad.
