This announcement was conveyed by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in a statement released on Monday, which was communicated through the ministry's Permanent Secretary, Magdalene Ajani. The declaration serves to honor the significance of the festival for the Muslim community in Nigeria.
