United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has officially inaugurated the UBA Innovation Hub and Business Office at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), further solidifying its partnership with the academic sector. The event was attended by UBA's Group Managing Director/CEO, Oliver Alawuba, and other senior bank executives, alongside UNILAG's leadership, including Vice Chancellor Professor Folasade Tolulope Ogunsola. This new facility, which features a four-floor complex, aims to foster collaboration between academia and industry by providing students and faculty with access to innovative banking services and financial advisory support. Additionally, UBA has renewed its sponsorship of the Professorial Chair in Finance at UNILAG, reinforcing its commitment to advancing education and research in Nigeria's financial sector.
