The Conference of Autochthonous Ethnic Nationalities Community Development Associations (CONEACDA) has raised alarms regarding the deteriorating security landscape in Nigeria. The organization highlighted that ongoing attacks, rising political tensions, and perceived threats to the rights of indigenous communities pose significant risks to national stability, particularly with the upcoming 2027 general elections on the horizon. Danladi Jeji, the president of CONEACDA, along with secretary-general Suleman, emphasized the urgent need for measures to protect indigenous rights and ensure peace in the country.
