Court reserves judgment in Owo terror attack; DSS seeks capital punishment

The Department of State Services (DSS) has brought charges against five individuals, namely Idris Omeiza, Al Qasim Idris, Jamiu Abdulmalik, Abdulhaleem Idris, and Momoh Abubakar, for their alleged involvement in a terror attack in Owo. The charges encompass nine counts of terrorism, reflecting the severity of the accusations. During the proceedings, the DSS has requested the imposition of capital punishment for the accused. The court has reserved its judgment on the matter, with a decision pending.
