Distribution Companies (DisCos) in Nigeria have reported substantial revenue growth attributed to recent increases in Band A tariffs. However, this financial boost has not translated into improved power supply for consumers. The persistent challenges faced by DisCos, including infrastructural deficits and operational inefficiencies, continue to hinder their ability to deliver reliable electricity services. As a result, despite the rise in revenue, the overall quality of power supply remains unsatisfactory for many Nigerians.
