Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, expressed optimism regarding the performance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the FCT during the upcoming 2027 elections. He attributed this confidence to the growing grassroots acceptance of government initiatives and the visible impact of infrastructural projects in the region, particularly in satellite towns and rural areas. Wike highlighted that over 20 projects are set to be inaugurated in conjunction with President Bola Tinubu’s third year anniversary, emphasizing the administration's commitment to enhancing living conditions through improved governance and infrastructure. He also noted the advanced stages of several key projects, including the Abuja Appeal Court Complex and the relocation of the Apo Mechanic Village, which are aimed at fostering inclusive development and better welfare for residents.
