The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Osun State has announced the deployment of 1,650 personnel to various locations throughout the state in preparation for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration. This initiative aims to maintain peace and ensure a crime-free environment during the festivities. The State Commandant, Igbalawole Sotiyo, made this announcement during a strategic security meeting with Area Commanders and Divisional Officers at the Command Headquarters located along Iwo-Ibadan Road in Ido-Osun. The deployment reflects the NSCDC's commitment to safeguarding the welfare of citizens during significant religious observances.
