Military deploys special forces, aerial assets to hunt Oyo kidnappers

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, has ordered the deployment of special forces and aerial surveillance assets to Oyo State in response to recent mass abductions in the area. This initiative comes as the Defence Headquarters reported a total of 314 arrests and 221 rescues across the nation. The military aims to enhance security and combat the rising incidents of kidnapping, particularly in Oyo, through these strategic operations.
