The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kwara Command has successfully intercepted 36 tonnes of lithium during an operation aimed at curbing illegal mining activities in the region. As a result of this operation, three suspects have been arrested in connection with the illegal mining of the valuable mineral.
