The Federal Executive Council has sanctioned the creation of a Nigerian aircraft leasing company aimed at reducing the financial burden on local operators when acquiring aircraft. During a meeting in Abuja with representatives from the Airline Operators of Nigeria, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, emphasized the initiative's potential to enhance the aviation sector in Nigeria. The establishment of this leasing firm is expected to facilitate easier access to aircraft, thereby promoting growth and sustainability within the industry.
