According to Jean-Pascal Tricoire, chairman of Schneider Electric, Africa needs approximately $200 billion each year to meet its energy access goals by 2030. Currently, the continent is facing a funding gap of nearly $90 billion, as investments stand at about $110 billion. Tricoire emphasized that this deficit poses significant financial challenges that could hinder progress towards achieving universal energy access in Africa.
