Kefas Ropshik has emerged as the winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary in Plateau State, securing the party's ticket for the upcoming election. The primary, which was characterized by intense competition, saw Ropshik garner a total of 19,938 votes from delegates across the 17 local government areas, surpassing three other candidates. Abdulrahman Baduwa, the chairman of the primary committee, officially announced the results, confirming Ropshik's victory. Following the announcement, Ropshik expressed his gratitude to party leaders, delegates, and supporters for their contributions and backing throughout the electoral process.
