The African Democratic Congress has announced the suspension of the collation of results from its presidential primary election. This decision was communicated by Ikechi Emenike, the chairman of the Presidential Primary Election Committee, who stated that the postponement is intended to allow Muslim members of the party to observe the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. Emenike confirmed that the collation of results for the remaining states is scheduled to resume at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
