Canada has formalized an energy agreement with Germany's SEFE, marking its inaugural liquefied natural gas (LNG) deal with a European buyer. Energy and Natural Resources Minister Tim Hodgson announced that the agreement will facilitate the supply of one million tonnes of LNG from Canada, specifically sourced from the Ksi Lisims export terminal located off the coast of British Columbia. This development underscores Canada's commitment to expanding its energy exports and strengthening ties with European markets.
