Despite its importance, both the Federal Government and the Ekiti State Government have not prioritized repairs or upgrades to this vital corridor, which has been in disrepair for the past 16 years since the establishment of the Afe Babalola University. The neglect of this road raises concerns about infrastructure maintenance and the implications for the local economy and community connectivity.
