Water scarcity hits parts of Damaturu

Residents of Commissioners’ Quarters in Damaturu, Yobe State, are experiencing significant water scarcity due to the malfunction of a generator that powers a key public borehole. The borehole, known as DA 48, is situated near the Diop Estate and is crucial for supplying water to one of the area's most prominent residential neighborhoods. The breakdown has led to increased concerns among residents, who rely heavily on this source for their daily water needs. Efforts to restore the generator and resume normal water supply have not yet been reported.
