Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of diesel by N200 per litre, lowering it from N1,800 to N1,600 effective Wednesday. This price cut comes as new shipments of diesel from independent importers have begun arriving at Nigerian ports, enhancing supply in the market. The adjustment is expected to further influence market prices, particularly as the refinery continues to increase its production capacity to meet local demand. This move follows a series of recent price reductions by the refinery, aimed at alleviating the financial burden on marketers and consumers while decreasing dependence on imported fuel.
