The African Development Bank (AfDB) has appointed Festus Keyamo, Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, to lead its $7 billion Integrated Aviation Transformation Programme for Africa (IATP). This initiative is designed to significantly revamp the aviation sector across the continent, enhancing infrastructure and operational efficiency. The announcement was made by Tunde Moshood, Special Adviser to the AfDB, highlighting the importance of this program in addressing the challenges faced by Africa's aviation industry. Keyamo's leadership is expected to drive the strategic implementation of this transformative project.
