The pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, has expressed concerns regarding the administration of President Bola Tinubu as it marks three years in office. In a statement released by its leaders, Afenifere highlighted issues such as maladministration, rising poverty, unemployment, and increasing insecurity characterized by mass killings and kidnappings. The organization criticized the government's handling of democratic federalism and the perceived subjugation of other branches of government, urging a shift away from what they described as a "one-man rule." Afenifere called for the inclusion of credible opposition parties and voices to ensure a more democratic process and prevent further deterioration of the nation's governance.
