Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on state governors to implement innovative strategies to combat the rising trend of kidnapping in Nigeria, which he described as increasingly profitable for criminals. In a Facebook post made on Thursday, Igbokwe highlighted the urgent need for a shift in tactics to address this growing menace. His remarks come in the wake of comments from security expert and Vice-Chancellor of Achievers University, Prof. Oyesoji Aremu, who has also emphasized the severity of the kidnapping crisis in the country.
