On Thursday, a tragic road accident on the Abeokuta-Lagos Expressway resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including two children. The incident occurred at Iyana Egbado when a white Mazda E2000 bus, carrying 20 passengers, lost control. In addition to the fatalities, ten other passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries and were promptly taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment. Emergency services responded to the scene to assist with the situation and investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
