The Dangote Group has reported that global shipping disruptions have hindered the timely arrival of its compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks, affecting the company's initiative to deploy 3,550 vehicles aimed at facilitating Nigeria's energy transition and decreasing dependence on petrol and diesel. To date, only 450 units have been successfully delivered, which represents a significant shortfall in the planned rollout. The company continues to monitor the situation closely as it seeks to expedite the remaining shipments.
