Customs Hands Over Expired Drugs Worth N3.7bn to NAFDAC

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Operations Unit Zone A, located in Ikeja, has officially transferred three truckloads of expired pharmaceutical products to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). The total value of these expired drugs is estimated at N3.7 billion. This handover event, conducted at the NCS office in Ikeja, highlights the ongoing partnership between the two agencies in ensuring public health and safety through the proper disposal of hazardous materials.
