Morocco's head coach, Mohamed Ouahbi, has announced a 26-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, featuring uncapped Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. Notably absent from the squad is Youssef En-Nesyri, a key player from the team that reached the semifinals in the 2022 tournament. Alongside En-Nesyri, several other players from that successful generation will also not participate in the World Cup. The squad will aim to build on their previous achievements as they prepare for the global competition.
