Dr. Jeffrey Kuraun, a governorship aspirant in Benue State, has formally requested that the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) either annul the recent primary election or declare him the winner. Kuraun's appeal follows the announcement by the returning officer of the Primary Election Committee, Mohammed Isa, who declared Governor Hyacinth Alia the winner of the election. Kuraun has characterized the primary as 'purported' and is seeking intervention from the party's national body to address his concerns regarding the electoral process.
