The Kebbi State Police Command has apprehended four individuals in connection with a fraudulent scheme that reportedly deceived two prospective pilgrims out of N9.290 million by promising to secure Hajj slots for the 2026 pilgrimage. The police spokesperson, SP Bashir Usman, confirmed the arrests in a statement issued on Friday. The suspects have been identified as Aminu Hassan Zauro and Tabiu Abubakar, among others. The investigation into the matter is ongoing as authorities work to uncover further details related to the alleged scam.
