The City Boy Movement has officially distanced itself from Mr. Adepoju Babatunde Salako, who has been linked to the group following reports of an alleged fraud conviction in the United States. In a statement released in Abuja by National Publicity Secretary Mohammed Abdullahi, the organization categorically denied any affiliation with Salako, asserting that he has never been a member or held any official role within the movement. The statement emphasized that Salako was not authorized to represent the group in any capacity, either domestically or internationally, and described the claims connecting him to the movement as false and politically motivated. The City Boy Movement urged the public and media to disregard any narratives attempting to associate Salako with their organization, reaffirming their commitment to youth engagement and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's political agenda.
