Rabiu Kwankwaso has officially announced that his close associate, Gwarzo, will be the governorship candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano State. Gwarzo previously held the position of Deputy Governor under Governor Abba Yusuf before departing from office. Additionally, Kwankwaso has endorsed Gawuna to run for the Senate, further solidifying the party's political strategy in the upcoming elections.
