The Global Executive Council of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has officially inaugurated a Committee on Human Rights to address concerns regarding alleged human rights violations against the Igbo community both within Nigeria and abroad. The ceremony took place at the Ohanaeze National Secretariat in Enugu, where the President-General, Senator Azuta Mbata, emphasized the importance of the committee's work. Dr. Ezechi Chukwu has been appointed as the National Coordinator of this committee, which aims to investigate and report on the alleged unlawful detention and other abuses faced by Igbos globally.
