Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has urged Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, to prioritize the interests of Kano over personal grievances and collaborate with his administration to foster a new and progressive state. During the annual Hawan Nassarawa celebration, Governor Yusuf expressed disappointment at Kwankwaso's absence from a recent event attended by many, including governors who had previously faced conflicts with their deputies. He emphasized his commitment to uniting the people of Kano and improving the state, while also acknowledging the Emir of Kano's guidance. The governor further indicated that while most of his advisers are performing well, he is monitoring the actions of a minority who may be undermining his government, warning that consequences will follow for any negative behavior.
