Thirty-three individuals have been formally charged in connection with the violent conflict between the Amasiri community in Afikpo Local Government Area and their neighbors from Okporojo in Oso Edda, Edda Local Government Area, both located in Ebonyi State. The arraignment took place on Friday at a high court in Abakaliki, where the suspects faced four counts related to the communal clashes. The court proceedings are part of ongoing efforts to address the violence that has affected the region. Further legal actions will follow as the case progresses through the judicial system.
