Aisha Yesufu Withdraws From NDC FCT Senate Race

Aisha Yesufu has officially withdrawn her candidacy from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Senate seat. This decision comes in light of the party's announcement that it will not hold primaries for the position. Yesufu, a well-known activist and supporter of Peter Obi, had previously declared her intention to run for the 2027 FCT senatorial election on May 6, following her defection to the NDC.
