The federal government has announced the distribution of more than 1.9 million bags of fertiliser to nearly one million farmers, aiming to enhance agricultural productivity and reinforce food security across the country. During a stakeholders’ engagement forum on Agricultural and Food Systems Transformation held in Abuja, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, provided details on this initiative. The distribution is part of broader efforts to support farmers and improve the overall agricultural landscape in Nigeria.
