The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), supported by Nyesom Wike and led by Abdulraman Mohammed, has officially refuted claims regarding a convention organized by Tanimu Turaki aimed at affirming former President Goodluck Jonathan as the party's presidential candidate for the 2027 elections. In a statement released on Friday in Abuja, the party's National Publicity Secretary, Jungudo Mohammed, characterized the proposed convention as false and misleading, asserting that it represents an attempt to misinform the public. The PDP emphasized its commitment to a transparent selection process for its candidates.
